Compiler For C C++
The most recommended way to get a C compiler for your Mac is to use Xcode. This uses gcc, the popular open source C compiler. The details vary for each version of OS X. Clang is the compiler built by Apple to compile C and a bunch of other languages. We get Apple LLVM version 7.3.0 (clang-703.0.29) but whatever version you're using is good enough to compile.
C++Builder includes compilers for Win32, Win64 and iOS. And, C++Builder also features a modern, high-productivity RAD Studio IDE, debugger tools, and enterprise connectivity for to accelerate cross-platform UI development. Learn more about RAD Studio on its product page.
The Microsoft C/C compiler (MSVC) uses a simple rule to determine which language to use when it compiles your code. By default, the MSVC compiler treats all files that end in.c as C source code, and all files that end in.cpp as C source code.
